Kim Bussie, RHIA

Kim Bussie is certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and InterQual Certified Instructor (IQCI).

Ms. Bussie received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration from Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA and is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at The University of Maryland University College.

Ms. Bussie serves as Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle Health Information Services at Howard University Hospital located in Washington, DC and includes oversight of the following: Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), Recovery Audit Contractor Management (RAC), and Health Information Management

Bonnie S. Cassidy, MPA, RHIA, FAHIMA, FHIMSS

Bonnie Cassidy is the 2011 President of AHIMA and served on the AHIMA Board as a Director from 2006 – 2008. Bonnie is the Vice President of HIM Product Management for QuadraMed. Prior to joining QuadraMed, Bonnie served as an executive with CCHIT; worked as Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young, and as an HIM administrator at two major teaching hospitals including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
 


 


Alan Dowling, PhD

AHIMA CEO Alan Dowling has served as president of Global Health Associates LLC and as adjunct professor of information systems at Case Western Reserve University. He also served as executive director of the Center for Health Innovation for Noblis, Inc., and has participated in numerous HIT-related committees, task forces, and work groups nationally and internationally.
